Every once in a while you discover a place so good, you can't believe there's no one else there. We've chosen not to name this break in the interests of trying to keep it under the radar of kitesurfers around the world world for as long as possible.
Join us on the trip of a lifetime. It is only a matter of a couple more years until this spot will be known as one of the top Meccas for wave kitesurfing in the world.

Kitesurfing 2,000 meter long waves!
The highlight of this trip is without a doubt the 2km long wave we'll be kiting and surfing everyday. The machine like perfection of the wave as well as the consistent swell and wind conditions make this a wave kiting paradise. When we aren't in the water, we'll be watching our mates from the verandah overlooking the point or relaxing at the poolside bar. It would be easy to spend the entire trip focussed solely on kitesurfing. However there are other things to do in the area including surfing the world-renowned surf break Chicama, visiting pre-Inc pyramids and ruins, and becoming immersed in the local culture.

Day 1: Arrive in Lima, Peru
Meet your guide and the rest of the group on arrival into Lima Peru. As the flights arrive late in the evening we’ll be transferred directly to our Lima hotel.

Day 2: Explore Lima
Check out the sites around Lima or go for a surf at one of the nearby breaks. This evening we catch the first class overnight bus up the coast. Double wide, fully reclining seats and maybe a kite surf movie and a few drinks to get the crew amped. This is travelling in style. B

Day 3: Kitesurf incredible waves!
We arrive at the point early in the morning so there’s time to hit the water for a surf or get settled and wait for the inevitable late morning breeze to kick in. There is no denying this place takes some effort to get to. But now that you’re here, there is nothing left to do but relax, unwind and enjoy a true wave kiter’s paradise. Your bungalow looks out on the point where all the action is. During those low energy moments you can just relax and watch it all happen, or get out there and smash that lip-over and over and over again. B

Days 4 - 12: Kitesurfing, surfing, relaxing & exploring
One session melts into the other as the days unfold and you get more and more comfortable riding the wave. The consistency of the conditions here makes this the place to learn some new tricks and take your wave riding to a new level. B

Day 13: Morning session, then depart for Lima
After another day of surfing and kiting we board the overnight bus for the return journey to Lima. B

Day 6: Lima & departures
Arrive into Lima this morning in time to catch flights home. B

Many of the sporting activities we do are weather dependent. For this reason, there are no refunds due to lack of suitable weather conditions. For further details, please see our detailed Terms and Conditions of Travel.
Air Travel
Airfares to and from the departure point for this trip are not included in the land cost. We are happy to provide a quote for your domestic and/or international travel, or you can source your own airfares via the internet or your preferred travel agent. Please be sure to check your tickets with our staff before purchasing or obtaining your tickets. We need to verify your arrival and departure schedule and ensure we have enough participants to operate the trip.
Seasonal Considerations
The weather in Peru will be very warm both during the day and night (approx 24-38°C). The heat in Zambia will be dry heat, so even thought it is hot, it isn't humid and uncomfortable. So you should be prepared for warm weather and pack accordingly - the pre-departure information pack provided once you've booked will outline exactly what you'll need to pack for this trip.
Accommodations
To maximise the “local” aspect of our adventures, wherever possible we avoid staying in large hotels or “tourist traps”. We prefer to stay in accommodations that would normally be frequented by the locals, thereby giving us more opportunities to travel like locals, and meet locals. On this tour the accommodations range from basic traditional Rondavel Huts through to holiday houses and lodges.
First Aid
We provide a comprehensive expedition first aid kit but prefer everyone to be independent with basic first aid items. Your personal first aid kit should include: Pain killers, Plasters (Band-Aids), strapping tape, anti-biotic cream, general anti-biotics (ask your GP), Diamox, throat lozenges, re- hydration salts & other personal medication of your choice. Please be sure to read the comprehensive pre-departure pack for this trip to get an understanding of what to expect and what to bring.
